Bristol, UK. 6th Feb, 2018. A small protest group briefly halted the Bristol lantern parade which was celebrating women's suffrage. The group blocked the path of the parade; march officials tried to get them to move on but they refused. After a few minutes the suffrage marchers moved forward pushing them aside. The protesters said the parade celebrated votes for white, wealthy women and claimed the parade excluded transgendered people. Bristol, UK. 6th February 2018.
