NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Aug. 23, 2018) Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Donald Harris, from Tallahassee, Fla., assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) weapons department, left, is awarded Aviation Ordnanceman of the Year by Capt. John J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer. Harris is will be promoted to chief petty officer next month.
