James Webb Space Telescope’s first images – Highest available resolution image of the Cosmic Cliffs region of the Carina Nebula captured by the Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam). This reveals previously obscured areas of star the Cosmic Cliffs, the region is actually the edge of a giant, gaseous cavity roughly 7600 light-years away.
