The 13th century Pont St-Etienne over the Vienne river in Limoges
Pont St-Etienne is a 13th century medieval bridge over the Vienne river in Limoges. It is one of the best preserved bridges in France completed in 1203 and repaired in 1854. It is 120m long, 5m wide and has seven equal arches. It is reserved for pedestrians and is still used by the pilgrims of St Jacques de Compostela.
