The adver-tising has taken two forms, namely, showcases on thepillars and walls of the three main interurban stations,and 3-ft. x 5-ft. signs on the walls of these stations andon the railings of the smaller station platforms. Thephotograph reproduced herewith shows the CarrallStreet station in the companys office building, which isentered by about 15,000 persons daily. The advertising is handled by a separate companywhich pays the railway company a percentage of its. Theadvertising company caters only to the best classes ofbusiness houses and accepts advertising from only onefirm in each line.
