Oak Tree photographed throughout 2002 and the beginning of 2023 This wonderful Oak Tree grows in a field south of Saffron Walden in Essex. I photographed the tree most weeks throughout 2022, through the spring when the tree was bare of leaves and through the summer when the tree greened up and crops grew all around. After the autumn harvest, mists arrived followed by bleak winter when frost and snow cocooned the Oak and landscape as it waited for the following spring to come back to life.
