This photograph taken on November 20, 1918, by Pvt. Alex P. Edouart, shows a general view of the main street, Kronprizenstrasse, in Grand Pre, France. The image depicts the extensive destruction caused by warfare. As of October 19, 1918, the enemy still held control of the upper portion of the town, located roughly 1200 yards down the street. The photograph has been approved by the censor, although the date of censorship is unknown.
