Well wishers were out in force today in Windsor to see the Household Cavalry exercising their right to a Freedom of Entry March through the town to celebrate the Household Cavalry Regiment’s long association with the town of Windsor. The regiment paused briefly at the Guildhall to take a salute in front of The Princess Royal. The Household Cavalry have been based at Combermere Barracks in Windsor for over 200 years and will be relocating to Salisbury Plain later in 2019.
