Cerianthus tube anemone. Tube, or cylinder, anemones (order Ceriantharia) are anthozoans that look very similar to sea anemones, but belong to a different subclass. They inhabit soft sediments in tubes made of secreted mucus, which they live in and can withdraw into for protection. Photographed in Lembeh Strait, off Sulawesi, Indonesia.
