Someof the first orders were to open the quartermasters stores andmount guard. The camp was further laid out by measure, andrightly named Camp Frieze, in honor of the Quartermaster-Gen-eral of Rhode Island. It occupies the northwesterly slope of thehill, on which the village of Tennallytown clings with feeblegrasp.
