Striped mojarra (Eugerres plumieri). X-ray of a section through a striped mojarra, showing the thickened spines (thick, white) of its fins. Mojarra school in warm, shallow coastal habitats. They are native to the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the Americas. This specimen measures centimetres in length.
