The centre is dark red brown, while the petals are variously marked with rings of brilliant scarlet crimson, orange and vermilion, and often a com- bination of all these colors in one flower. (See cut.) Strong clumps for immediate effect, 15 cts. each ; § per doz.; per 100. Strong young plants, which will flower freely this summer, 10 cts. each ; $ per doz.; per 100. When in bloom it forms a symmetrical mass 2 to 3 feet in height, and as much through, of minute pure white flowers, forming a beautiful gauze-like appearance. For cutting purposes it is exquisite, especially in combination with high-colored flowers, and some most lovely effects can be produced with it. 15 cts. each; $ per doz. KepenS,.
