. 32nd annual catalogue. Nursery stock Iowa Des Moines Catalogs; Plants, Ornamental Catalogs; Vegetables Seeds Catalogs; Flowers Catalogs; Gardening Equipment and supplies Catalogs. CHAMELEON GERANIUM. This charming novelty was first sent out a number of years ago, but owing to its being slow of propagation the stock was nearly lost, and it has not been prominently offered recently. Our stock is not large this year but we hope to have sufficient to supply the demand. When first introduced it sold at $ per plant. It is what might be called a "sport" or "freak" of nature, as it is quite er- ratic in its growth as shown by our illustration. Some flowers are red, some white, some pinkish sal- mon, and some clearly striped with the three colors. Frequently one plant will have on it flowers of all these colors at the same time. Other plants will bloom for months showing only one of the colors, then suddenly changing to some other hue. It is a free bloomer, bearing many trusses of large sin- gle flowers. The name Chame- leon was suggested by its peculiar manner of changing color. Every one who grows Geraniums, and that means almost everybody, should try it. Each 25c. OLD GLORY GERANIUM This grand novelty which we in- troduced is a seedling from a care- ful cross made by a florist in the employ of the U. S. government and had never been named until we purchased the stock through the mediation of a friend of his. In the Government floral gardens at Washington there were many rare plants, but none attracted our attention as much as a beau- tiful new variety of geranium which occupied a large bed near the Washington Monument. When seen at a distance it was a most beautiful sight, being ap- parently a solid mass of clear bright, beautiful pink. Has immense trusses, some- times six inches in diameter, of magnificent large, semi-double flowers, which cover it so as to almost hide the foliage. Color is a clear, bright rosy pink, the up- per petals are spott
