YOKOSUKA, Japan – A Coast Guardsman from the cutter Alex Haley (WMEC 39) tosses a mooring line to the pier as the ship arrives at Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka for a scheduled port visit. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
