Transport down to the coast is done bywheeled vehicle, and for this purpose a road hasbeen built. The local vehicle for human transport is the Icarrewhich spells post-cart in Qfinsk. It is a word whichcovers a multitude of shapes. The best karre is likethe Norwegian stolkjarre, and has two bodies set onebehind the other on one pair of shafts, with remark-ably little room for the legs in either. The twowheels are small and sturdy, and have long projectinghubs which remind one of the ancient British scythe-
