Eton Wick, Windsor, Berkshire, UK. 13th December, 2022. Snow covered Brussel Sprouts on another snowy day in Eton Wick. In the run up to Christmas, many supermarkets have dropped the prices of their winter vegetables to just 19p per bag which is helpful to consumers struggling with the cost of living crisis, but leaves farmers with very little margins. More and more farmers are looking at a bleak future and are going bust. The current cold weather will make it difficult for harvesting. Credit: Maureen McLean/Alamy Live News
