By the NIWIN boxes with sports materials and relaxation supplies were sent to the outposts. These chests acquired the name of rhomboe chests. On 1 June 1949, the first of these rimboekists arrived in a detachment of 4-3 RI. At this solemn transfer of the casket to the detachment commander, many authorities were present. On behalf of Maj. Gen. E. Engles, commander of C-Division 7 December, Lieutenant Colonel Voskuil spoke to the men of the outpost and wished them lots of fun with their rimboekist.
