Six body-shaped graves cut in a sandstone outcrop adjacent to St Patrick's Anglo-Saxon chapel on Heysham Barrows, Morecambe Bay.

Six body-shaped graves cut in a sandstone outcrop adjacent to St Patrick's C8th Anglo-Saxon chapel on Heysham Barrows overlooking Morecambe Bay. Thought to date from C11th, sockets at some of the heads may once have held crosses. Another suggestion is that the 'graves' were used to store & display holy relics. Two more rock-cut shapes lie close by.
