We have recorded one stone found 116 RECORDS J as. 1S15. at Deerfield(see page 58) which marks whatseems to be an unknown grave, and now inBarre we find five more singular are rough slabs of sandstone scatteredabout the grave-yard, but, while appearingto be quite old, we have no way of tellingtheir exact age as they bear no date, and,in fact, nothing save initials. Two of thesemysterious stones are illustrated in figs 26and 27.
