Raul Mendoza, an aircraft mechanic with Marine Light Attack Squadron (HMLA) 367, directs a UH-1Y Venom helicopter for landing before transport to California as part of Deployment for Training (DFT) at Naval Base Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Feb. 16, 2022. The DFT is deisgned to simulate operating in a deployed environment and to prepare the unit for any future contingencies they may encounter while deployed.
