The image includes a Loch Ness type monster, a kicking horse, a box of barbed wire, guns of various sizes, a tent, a German spy (being followed by three soldiers) and egg shells for ammunition. The cartoon has been photographed and put on a postcard. Replica training trenches were constructed at Blackpool in 1915-6, probably by soldiers from the nearby Weeton Camp. The 'Arras and Loos Trenches' became a visitor attraction manned by wounded servicemen later on in the war
