Tudor Weapon Smiths Repair a Matchlock Musket for Trayned Bands or the irregular army with Blacksmith at his forge


The Tudor Group covering the period 1485 to 1603 in England from Henry VII to Elizabeth I including the break with Catholicism, national Papal resistance and creation of an independent Protestant church. Architecture shows the final development of medieval building. The period saw creation of England's first standing / permanent navy. The musket and canon was introduced in this period with all bows replaced by order with firearms around 1595.
