Cupcake lovers flock to the grand opening of the House of Cupcakes in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York on Thursday, May 9, 2013 for a free cupcake offered to the first 1000 visitors. The newly opened bakery is the first branch of the Princeton based company, opened in 2008 and founded by Ron and Ruthie Bzdewka, winners of the Food Network's Cupcake Wars reality television program. The bakery offers 35 varieties of cupcakes as well as coffee and other cakes, cookies and beverages. Additional House of Cupcakes locations are scheduled to open in the Bronx and in East Brunswick, NJ. (© Frances M. Roberts)
