The Diakoumis old, stone, arched bridge in Northern Pelion mountain, Magnisia, Thessaly, Greece.

The Diakoumis old, stone, arched bridge connecting the 2 banks of Lagonica stream, in Northern Pelion mountain, Magnisia, Thessaly, Greece. There is one more stone bridge on the same stream, higher and deeper in the forest, called Poros bridge. HOW TO GET THERE: Leaving Zagora, after about 6 km you find another beautiful village, called Pouri. You pass through the village and take the road that leads to the Old Mitzela beach or Ovrios beach. The distance between Pouri village and Ovrios beach is around 8 km, most of them is a dirtroad. About 6 km after Pouri you'll have to search for the path that leads to the abandoned, completely destroyed village of Old Mitzela, in the heart of the forest (about 30 minutes walk from the point you leave the car). After 5-10 minutes walk on that path you'll see this beautiful stone bridge.
