Dun Telve Iron Age broch tower, Glenelg, Scotland, UK, looking W from first-floor level of the ruined wall across the interior to the entrance passage. The passage has a cell above its roof, a side guard cell & a check and bar-hole to secure a door. There are voids above the entrance to reduce weight on the lintels. Despite robbing & collapse, the double drystone wall around the circular inner court survives in places to over Lintel slabs can be seen tying the inner & outer walls together & forming level galleries. A stair leading up from a ground-floor mural cell can be seen bottom R. A stone ledge (scarcement) at first-floor level supported a wooden floor & a second, upper scarcement may have supported a roof.
