Lance Cpl. Travis Bodjanac uses eye drops after a portion of the Marine Corps Combatant Divers Course on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, May 11, 2017. After diving, the students sit for 10 minutes to ensure they aren’t at risk from potential hazards involved with the pressure underwater. The USMC Combatant Divers Course is eight weeks and combines lectures, demonstrations and practical application of circuit diving, diving physics, and medical aid. Bodjanac, from Stow, Ohio, is a reconnaissance Marine with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
