Linh Phuoc Pagoda, Dalat, Vietnam
Linh Phuoc Pagoda is located at No. 120 Tu Phuoc, about 8 kilometers to the southeast of Dalat. This Pagoda was constructed by some Buddhist followers coming from Thua Thien Hue from 1949. Since 1990, people have known of this sacred place with special architecture pattern. Until now, there are many other constructions to be built, among which the Long Hoa Garden is considered the most impressive. This shaped a dragon which is 49 meters long bending around Di Lac Buddha. A special feature is that the dragon’s scales are made from the shatters of 50 000 glass bottles of beer. Visiting Linh Phuoc Pagoda, tourists will have chance to experience the wonderful architecture constructions like the presbytery which possesses unique and special architecture style. Along the two side of the presbytery are the pillars skillfully sculptured and decorated. In front of Long Hoa Garden located the Linh Tower of 36 meters high with 7 floors (it is regarded as the highest tower in Dalat). This place worships the Buddha and is also considered a museum. Visiting the Pagoda, you will see how carefully and precisely it is designed and arranged.
