Instructions and rules for the Victorian parlour game of Piladex, c. 1900 - a cross between table tennis and badminton

Instructions and rules for the Victorian parlour game of Piladex, c. 1900. From the illustration on the back, the game being played is a cross between table tennis and badminton with the use of small racquets and an inflated ball or balloon across a table tennis style net. The game seems aimed at the upper classes with the instruction leaflet making the claim that the game is noiseless, played by Royalty and is especially suited to ladies and children - vintage Victorian graphics.
