London, UK. 20th April, 2016. Richard Solly, Co-ordinator, London Mining Network speaks about strip mining the coal imported to power Drax at the protest outside the Drax AGM. The mines are owned by three of the worlds's largest mining companies, all listed in London, and in which most pension funds invest, Anglo-American, BHP Billington and Glencore. The protest called for Drax to be shut down and warned shareholders to disinvest. Drax burns more coal and emits more carbon than any other UK power station. Peter Marshall/Alamy Live News
