George Busk (1807-1886), British zoologist and Naval surgeon. Busk made important observations on scurvy and cholera. He also wrote reports on Polyzoa (colonial sessile aquatic invertebrates) collected during the HMS Challenger expedition of 1872-1876. Photographed in 1882.
