ARBORVITAE COMPACTA PYRAMIDAL (Thuja Orientalis Bakerii). Dark green, very compact foliage, rather columnar than Pyramidal. Fine for column effect. Size. Very pleasing when combined with other shades of green. Attains a height of 6 feet. Useful in foundation, or as specimen plant. Rosedale Arborvitae may be transplanted bare- rooted up to two feet, when ordering these plants bare-rooted 50c each may be deducted. AMERICAN ARBORVITAE (Thuja Occidentalis). This Arborvitae is very hardy and dependable in almost any situation. A moist location is pre- ferred, stands trimming well, and for this reason is widely used for hedge purposes. The rate of growth and ultimate height depend largely upon conditions. It usually grows bushy at the bottom and tapering toward the top.
