Whorls smooth, faint indications of ribs on the upper 4 or 5 whorls, and even less defined on earlier part of 6th whorl; a feeble spiral lira immediately below suture, and another marking the lower boundary of sulcus and middle of the lip sinus, thus corresponding with the series of nodules in typical sinuata; below this 2 or 3 additional very feeble lirae on body whorl, best seen where they have become white from abrasion.
