The first of the yellow Sweet Corns to mature, and still the standard of quality for all Sweet Corns, although it has been in cultivation for nearly twenty years. From early plantings. Golden Bantam is ready for the table in 65 to 75 days, depending on the weather, and it may be planted for succession every week or ten days from the last of April up to mid-July. While the ears are small, averaging 5 to 6 inches in length on good soil, they surely are of unsurpassed flavor. The true type always has eight rows of broad, golden yellow grains. Golden Bantam thrives on a great variety of soils and in practically all sections of the country. It is uniformly prolific, producing two or more ears to the stalk. We offer a verv select stock of the true Golden Bantam. Pkt. 15 cts., Vilb. 25 cts., lb. 40 cts., 2 lbs. 70 cts., 5 lbs. $, 10 lbs. $ WHIPPLE'S EARLY YELLOW. This is another new yellow variety and is double the si/e of Golden Bantam and onlv a few davs later. The ear is 7 to 8 inches long and carries 12 to U) rows of large kernels. This is the late quality standard among the yellow Sweet Corns. In '-eason it is a few days later than Beckert's Golden Evergreen, while in size of stalk and ear it closely resembles Golden Bantam. From one of its ancestors. Country Gentleman, it has inherited the irregular or "shoe-peg" arrangement of kernels, so might be called the V'ellow Shoe-Peg
