Leaflet about the trial of John W Webster for the murder of Dr George Parkman, Boston businessman George Parkman disappeared in November 1849, his dismembered and partially burned body was found in the laboratory of John Webster, a lecturer at Harvard Medical College by the college janitor. It was an early use of forensic medicine that helped identify the body.
