In Bologna, Bagni Mario, or Mario's Baths, is the name given to a large underground reservoir dating back to the 16th century and decorated with Renaissance frescoes and Gothic arches to the many narrow tunnels that converge onto the main chamber which stored water for a range of uses including Neptune's Fountain.
