It is a variegated climber of high merit, /and one that it is a pier sure to recommend. Sow the seeds where the plants are to stand, early in the spring. Does well on the south i^*side of a wall or building, fully exposed to sun and air. It will climb a string or pole, and a few plants will make a dense and beautiful screen, admired by all who see it. Once grown it will proDagate itself from vol- unteer seeds, and need not be sown every season. Among the plants lately introduced these Morning Glories have proved worthy of high Eraise. They are species of Ipomoea, and ave flowers as large as those of I. limbata, but representing a wonderful variety of colors and variegations, as carmine, rose, royal pur- ple, azure, white, chocolate, velvetj'-red, some richly striped, blotched and spotted, some with colored throats, some distinctly margined and rayed. The plants are not as hardy as those of the common Morning Glory. Sow in a box early, and transplant to a warm, sunny place.
