Bradwell nuclear power station, Essex, UK.
(Feb 2009) Magnox Electric was found guilty and fined £250,000 of breaking laws on the disposal of radioactive waste by failing to maintain holding tanks that had been leaking liquid from from the site since 1990. The plant has now closed and is undergoing decommissioning. Bradwell has been earmarked by the Government as a site for new nuclear reactors to be built by EDF in the near future.
