Figures 2 and 3 show that the periods of prosperity in the business correspond to periods of approximately average or above in both seasonal and annual precipitation, and years of adversity to those below average. Figure 3 shows- a similar dry period, from 1899 to 1903, inclusive, while figure 2 shows this dry period as from 1898 to 1901, inclusive.
