One of my favourite row of trees, anywhere. And it happens to be in my home village of Lower Radley in Oxfordshire, England, just a stone's throw from Radley Lakes. It manages to look pretty just about throughout the year - and particularly here in mid-winter, just as the sun is rising. Frost covers the ground, and a pile of dead wood in the foreground makes for a nice contrast with the live - but bare - trees, aglow with sunrise. And the moon looks down on all.
