False clown anemone fish (Amphiprion ocellaris) among the tentacles of its host sea anemone. This fish lives in a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with the anemone. The clown fish lives and feeds under the protection of its host. The anemone in turn receives morsels of food discarded by the fish, and is cleaned of parasites. Slime on the body of the fish prevents the stinging cells on the anemone from harming it.
