The Malvern Standing Cross is in its original location and has a medieval stone base and column. Great Malvern, Worcestershire, England

The base and column were heavily restored in the Victorian era, when a new cross head was also fitted, replacing an earlier sundial. Of around 12,000 standing crosses build during the medieval period, only around 2,000 remain. They acted as boundary markers, procession points and sites for preaching.
