The following variations in relation to these groups are often found: Variation 1: Group C is displaced from its position under the right hepaticflexure over into the left flank. Variation 2: Group B crosses the median line and occupies the position ofGroup C under the hepatic flexure, while Group C goes to the left. Variation 3: Group C goes down to the left, and groups B and D go acrossand ascend on the right to occupy its place.
