About ten suckers in its middle portion are much enlarged and have a smooth horny ring. Both the proximal and distal suckers as well as those on the margin of the club are very oblique and have narrow acute teeth with wide interspaces between them (Textfig. 7). The Surface is smooth. The Colour is a dull yellow with purple chromatophores much more closely set above than below, giving the back a deep purple appearance.
