Arthur Zirkinaii, of the M. Rice Co., Philadelphia, was in town last week, showing an extensive line of florists' supplies. We are sorry to report that the con- dition of A. Dennison, a former florist of Brockport, X. Y., is quite serious. He has been in the general hospital here for several weeks and was obliged to undergo another operation for blad- der trouble last week. Little hope is given of his recovery. More than fifty members of the hor- ticultural class of Cornell University were tendered a banquet Friday eve- ning, December 11, at the Osburn House, by the Rochester Florists' Asso- ciation. The banquet followed an all- day inspection of the park system and the truck garflening sections of Ironde- quoit.
