Vietnamese soldiers can be seen rushing towards the helicopters at the outpost of Duc Pho, located 80 miles south of Da Nang. The helicopters were used to transport two 105mm howitzers to the top of a nearby 700-foot hill. Lieutenant Edvard F. Riley ensured that the helicopters were not overloaded by counting each shell.
