Baible, thi bookkeeper, is enjoying his vaca- tion, as are many this year, in alter- nate days of rest at nearby seaside re- sorts. Edward Kline, buyer for J. H. Small & Sons, will spend August with his fam- ily at Old Orchard, Me. Of H. E. Proment's force, Geo. Orth and Wm. Nigro have returned from their holidays. Miss Conklin is at Sockett Lake. Wm. Sampson goes August 1 and Phil Ditzenberger left July 20 with his family for a rest in the Catskills. Albert Dennison, of J. K. Allen's force, left July 18 for a two weeks' va- cation. Miss Rose Grafman will go to the Catskills August 8. Otto Heinecken left for Europe July 18 on the Imperator. Nicholas Doganges, 2683 Broadway, caused the arrest of one of his em- ployees July 18 on a charge of not put- ting the cash in the drawer. R. J. Irwin has returned from a brief holiday at Cromwell, Conn. Maurice Fuld will lecture at Newport, R. I., early in August. Charles Millang has become a grower of gladioli. S. Keller, of Reed & Keller, sailed on the Imperator July 18 for a ten weeks' European trip. Wm.
