Remember that you are using milk as well as Mellins Foodand that milk is liable to variations, especially if any decidedchange is made in the feeding of the cows. It is unnecessary to add anything else; the Mellins Foodalone will perfectly modify the milk, if properly prepared. If there is any doubt as to the purity of the water, boil it,but let it cool before dissolving the Mellins Food in it. Mix the Mellins Food with the water and milk at least twoLet mixture or three hours before giving any to the baby. The Mellins Foodstand, will then have sufficient time to soften the curd of the milk, asalready explained, and thus render the milk easily digestible. If milk is obtained but once a day, enough of the MellinsFood may then be prepared to last for twenty-four hours. Ifmilk is received twice a day, enough of the Mellins Food maybe prepared each time to last for twelve hours. Keep the prepared food on
