Agartala, India. 19th Nov, 2017. Juicy oranges from Jampui hills of north Tripura arrive in the market of Agartala. Oranges from Tripura were famous till production slowed down few years back. The state government introduced Orange Festival to encourage cultuvation of the citrus fruit after Jampui oranges were ranked best in a competition held in New Delhi in the 1980s.
