Earh^ preparation July 19th bushel Medium Aug. 15th bushel Late Sept. 11th bushel 447. The early breaking was worth about 25c a day per acre over the late plowing. Results obtained at the Kansas Experiment Station indicated similairly a gain of about 40c per day in favor of early deep plowing, when compared with late, shallow plowing. Results are usual-.
