This Kolkatan kid is dressed as Krishna during the Charak Gajan festival. INDIA: THIS PHOTOGRAPHER has captured pictures of children dressed up as Gods during an annual Indian festival. Adorable snaps showed a young boy dressed as Shiva, the Hindu deity of creation and a lad impersonating a snake charmer. Another image captured a young girl dressed as the male deity Krishna, god of compassion, love and tenderness, with a stick-on third eye. The images were shot by graphic designer and photographer, Saurabh Sirohiya (35) of Kolkata, India, the photoset was taken in Uttar Pradesh, Kolkata and West Bengal, India. The Hindis were celebrating Maha Shivratri and Charak Gajan, both being annual festivals with the former marking overcoming darkness and ignorance, along with the latter honouring deities including Dharmaraj, Neel and Shiva. @saurabh_sirohiya_photography /SaurabhSirohiya
